Major FPS Drop and Sim Stuck Glitch in The Sims 2
I've been playing The Sims 2 for a while, and the game starts to stutter significantly when I switch to speed 3. The FPS drops rapidly from 165 to 30, which doesn't seem normal.
Additionally, sometimes when I take my Sim somewhere by car and then return, they get stuck floating in a sitting position—without the car—until the game eventually fixes itself.

This was resolved in today's patch:
- There are significant frames per second (FPS) drops in various scenarios including multiple Sims in Ultra Speed, various complex lots, camera panning, etc.
