Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error

I definitely don't know what else to do, my sims 2 just closes all the time appearing the error message "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" I can't even get out to another lot besides the residential. I also noticed that some sims appear flashing red, as if their mesh's are missing. I have already installed all existing versions of Microsoft Visual C++ but it did not solve, can anyone help me? I thank you.
