Placing Cushions in Sims2

I have downloaded custom content (an Industrial Set) from Mod the Sims which utilises one of the Ikea sofas with recolours and cushions. The pack contains the cushions but I cannot place them on these sofas with either the cheat box 'Moveobjects on' or a suggestion was to download OMSP (one more slot please) before realising this was for Sims3 - no wonder it did not show up in my game. :(

I also realised I was never able to place the Ikea cushion that comes with the pack on any of the sofas (only on floors and tables).

Any help would be much appreciated as I really want to play a more modern Sims2 neighbourhoods.

    setQuarterTilePlacement on
    after turning it on, you have to press Ctrl+F to activate it on or off

    Just to report that I am still unable to place any of the cushions on a chair or sofa, so back to looking for a solution on-line... :(

    If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated. :)
    Update: 9.35 - I have now uploaded other cushions that work. :)

    What did the creator notes say? did they suggest a particular OMSP? I didn't even know TS2 Ikea stuff came with extra cushions, lol, shows you how much I didn't like (didn't bother with it much) that pack with it's tiny file cabinets which turn out to be useless or no slot to hold different things.

    There is no note from the Industrial Set creator (mustluvcatz) and on checking another creator (Mystic Rain) made the cushions that were used.
    There is a mention of using a "quarter tile cheat" but not specifically for the cushions.
    Have you ever used this cheat or know of this cheat?

    Thank you and for the link to other cheats - especially snapobjectstogrid - it is great to be able to centre coffee tables to 3 Seater sofas. :)

    I hope I am successful with the quarter tile placement - can't wait to modernise my neighbourhoods! :)
