@renato007rigin , There are ways to still play Sims 2. The game is still available on CD/DVD and you'll need an external disk drive if your computer doesn't have one. Those aren't very expensive and you can find one most any place. Copies of Sims 2 are still found on Amazon, E-Bay, local game shops that sell used games and local thrift stores. 

If you have an Apple computer, the Sims 2 Super Collection is available for sale on the Apple App Store. It contains everything ported to the Mac OS from Base Game to Bon Voyage and the Family Fun, Glamour Life and Happy Holidays Stuff Packs. Aspyr just recently patched the game to run 64 bit and to be compatible with the new M1 chips found in most new Apple laptops. 

I agree. I love Sims 2 ultimate collection.... Sims 2 super collection is missing freetime and apartment life ... its just not the same after playing the ultimate collection for many years...

Omg thank you so much for this! I recently purchased the cd for the sims 2 on eBay but my MacBook does not support cd. 

@UndeniableJ . since you are on a Mac, you are very lucky in that you can purchase the Sims 2 Super Collection from the Apple App Store. Aspyr has updated the game to run on modern Macs including those with the M1 chip. While it doesn't contain the full Sims 2 collection, it does run very well and smoothly on the computer. If you had wanted to play from the Mac disks, I'm afraid they won't install at all even with an external disk drive. This is due to the fact that when Macs that were made during the initial run of Sims 2 had a chip similar to the the M1 chip called a PowerPC chip. Your computer wouldn't recognize the language used for the PowerPC chip as Apple stopped including the program to read that a couple of years after they switched to the Intel chips.

I just wanted to buy the game because I found good videos about it, but I doesn't founded in the EA app,but only the 3 and the 4. Just wanted to asked did I just do something wrong or it's actually it's not for sale?

Just to know, I have Windows 11 and tryed the browse and game search too!

@WalakiMagyar12 , I'm afraid you are nearly 10 years too late to purchase Sims 2 (unless you play on a Mac). The game was retired in October 2018. The only way to play the game now is to purchase an external disk drive and find copies of the disks on Amazon, E-bay, thrift stores or game stores that sell used games.
