Sims 2 and eps on disk

Question

Hello fellow simmers I have all the sims 2 on disk and I have them installed on my windows 7 pc which is now updated to windows 10.. my problem is I uninstalled apartment life because I was having crashing issues but now I can't reinstall the ep on my computer because of this ministration block and my disk goes totally unrecognized.. is there a work around in order for me to get this pack back in my game...

If you have a physical copy of The Sims 2 or their EPs/ SPs you can get a free digital copy.
You just need the codes.
Contact EA, say the physical disc you have isn't working, they'll ask for a code, you give it to them and you get the game put on your Origin account.

Yes but I dont want to replace the whole game I dont want yo loose all of my years of game play will it still work like that

If it's just the one EP, you shouldn't have to do anything. But either way, back up your save files.
