I am not sure I would miss a Sim going to hospital to have a baby but it is more realistic even though sometimes when I play, the parents don't always manage to travel together in the same vehicle. :)
Once in Sims3 I tried a homebirth but it took hours and hours for the mother to have the baby - unlike in Sims2. :D
