Sims 2 Legacy : 'Application has crashed, application will now terminate.'

I'm having the same issue. Made my family twice and it crashed both times :(

I'm having the same issue in the Legacy Edition. Can start the game just fine, but when trying to save a family in CAS, the game crashes with the "The application has crashed. The application will now terminate." notice.

Yep having the same problem, and getting same error after trying to enter the world after creating a sim family :(

Receiving the same message after a few minutes of opening the game.

Cat came back from work, application has crashed and will now terminate. I saved jist before the error so i cant even play with the family anymore q-q hope they fix it soon!

I am having the same issue. Crash after creating a family while loading back to the neighbourhood screen. Made a 1 sim family on Pleasantview successfully. Then switched to Riverblossom Hills and had this crash.
