register code old disk missing
the sims 2 double deluxe 3 disk package issue with missing register code. i have the orignal case and disk and manual but no codes on it what so ever. i have the proof of purches code. tride to go to support page but no title for this proble is availble to put in the ticket.Help! I've been playing sims2 Legacy fine and I've only played a couple of times but since January I've not been able to play at all. When I load the main menu there's missing pictures (see attachments) and neighbourhoods. When I click on the neighbourhoods there's no families or lots. I've also lost all previous families and lots I've made. I've tried the solution in a similar discussion Missing Neighborhoods | EA Forums - 12126924. But this didn't work I had to try and undo it as it messed my computer up a bit. I've tried repairing and reinstalling but its still the same. Tried contacting EA several times but I've had no response it's been over a month. I've been waiting for an game update or something but there hasn't been any.Unable to access save Data
So, I recently splurged on a new PC, and I am unable to access the current save data on the new PC; originally, I thought it was a linkage issue, but it brings up game data from two years ago. On the dashboard it shows that I am playing on my old PC, which I am, but it's a bit frustrating to not be able to use the new one. I have tried the contact us link on EA page and I wound up in a loop with the useless AI Beta that answered no questions. Anyone have some suggestions on how to solve this issue, or can you point me in the right direction?
my game won't go past loading screen
(sims 2 legacy) I've been trying to open my game and it stays in the loading screen forever. If i click with my mouse it crashes and I have to restart. If I wait and let the loading screen be...... it just stays there... forever. I've read many people are experiencing this but none of the fixes I've tried worked, is there somewhere I can ask someone about this problem? Is something happening???Legacy works awesome on Windows 11
Just needed to say, my original Sims 2 crashed constantly on Win 10, had to do all these stupid graphic tweaks but crashed a ton regardless. Been playing The Sims since Sims 1 thru 4 but stuck with Sims 2. Then i upgraded to Win 11 and Legacy plays beautifully!! THANK YOU EA for working on all of the initial launching issues. I am able to play my original Saves with tons of CC and Mods!!
EA App Removing Sims 2 and The Sims
Is anyone else having issues with the EA App and them completely removing the Sims 2 Legacy packs and the original Sims? I have added a screenshot of what EA says. I paid money for this. I'm upset. I can't find anything online about them removing them. The only platform I can play is on Steam but i would have to buy everything all over again. Can anyone provide some insight on what to do or what is happening? #EAApp
Sims 2 Legacy Collection Crashing During Loading (steam)
a month ago i played just fine and saved after making a house. the next day it just wouldnt open up at all. crashes mainly after the intro or during "loading manic mansions." ive done everything i could. cleared the cache , ran as administrator , validated the files , took out my cc , let the neighborhoods file remake itself. nothing. if anyone has any other ideas please please please let me know . . my boyfriend recently bought me the game and i feel horrible that it just broke all of a sudden.Sims 2 Resetting Neighborhoods - "Templates" Folder?
Back in the day with the original The Sims 2, there used to be a Templates folder that had copies of the original Pleasantview, Strangetown, and Veronaville neighborhoods. If a player wanted to 'restart' a playthrough of these neighborhoods, all we had to do was copy the N001 template files into our neighborhood directory in the Sims 2 (overwriting the the existing neighborhood), and voila! Fresh start. I've been looking for the Template folder in my current install and am not seeing it. As I remember, it used to be installed in a completely different directory, but I'm afraid that the Legacy edition may not even HAVE it because I"ve searched both my main C drive as well as the Sims 2 stuff in Documents.
