Also crashing issues are not usually related to this. You can't even start the game if SecuRom is the issue.
I don't have much experience with Sims 2 crashing issues though, so take this with a grain of salt.
Thanks crinrict. My son has windows 10 and skylake CPU. I installed ts2 uc download on there and it will run ,I ran a test but haven't played long enough to see if it would crash. Maybe Ill play it for a while and see what happens and report back . His bios is updated so maybe its a bios issue for some. Maybe their video cards are not updated for windows 10 or they upgraded their computer to windows 10 , their computers are older and wont support windows 10.
