Sims 2 Ultimate Collection packs

I have it when ea support gave the copy for free, I used to play it months ago but got so overwhelmed with all the features it has, is there any way I can disable everything but the base game? I want to experience the game from the bottom.

    I haven't found a way besides having the base game on disk (and being able to install it).

    I believe it's still in testing... at least that's what it says. You can try it.

    Ah that's too bad, I have tried moving the individual packs folder somewhere else but the game failed to launch.
