Sims 2 Ultimate Collection packs

Question

I have it when ea support gave the copy for free, I used to play it months ago but got so overwhelmed with all the features it has, is there any way I can disable everything but the base game? I want to experience the game from the bottom.

Ah that's too bad, I have tried moving the individual packs folder somewhere else but the game failed to launch.
