    Hi all,

    This issue was resolved in today's patch:

    • Addressed some situations related to the error “Some needed files were corrupted during the installation”

I filed for a refund through Origin and got the game through Steam, as I couldn't get it working after 4 re-installations, AV exclusions and changing the compatibility settings. It worked via Steam, so it could be a bug with the Origin version unfortunately.

    I filed for a refund as well. I work too hard for my money to just throw it at a corrupted game that I can't play.  :(
