the sims 2 direct x 9.0c
okay so I just got the sims 2 and I am told I do not have directX 9.0c but went to microsoft and downloaded it and it said I had the same verion or newer version already instealled. I have direct x 1...
I fixed the problem! Try to put your the sims on the windowed mode!
"The only thing you have to do is add a -w at the end of your normal shortcut.
Right-click on the game icon and select properties.
* At the very end of the Target path (after the "), put in a space then -w and click OK.
* If you want to have 2 separate icons (one for windowed mode, and one for regular), then just right-click on the game icon, select copy, then right-click again anywhere else on your desktop, select paste, and rename your shortcut and update the path accordingly. "I catch this from yahoo!
