[The Sims 2 Legacy] After patch, kids still disappear

I was having issues with adult sims disappearing pre-patch, that seems to be fixed, but now kids are disappearing after downloading the patch :(  I saved and left a lot with 2 adults, one toddler an...

same for me, even after Thursday's update. This is extremely annoying to still be dealing with two updates later. My sim's toddler just disappeared in a brand new save made after the last patch. It happened the same way it happened for me last time; after going clothes shopping for the child and coming back home.
