What does sims 2 have that is lacking in sims 4

Thank you first of all for reading my comment I know I’m years off but it has been about 8 years since Sims 4 was released.I grew up playing Sims all the way from the first sims. I would love to see the Spin Offs to make a comeback actually. Especially Castaway stories I was in love with that one, it can be revamped and I loved the Idea of the survival mode. It was giving virtual villagers vibes and it just had me stuck for hours on end.
