Hey Rflong - I'm still not through with the reinstall as I am carefully installing each ep or sp in the order it came out, then patching, then testing it before I go to the next and last night the very first patch the game decides to add for just the base game is the Super patch - which took over 2 hours to download and install. You'd think that would be all I need, but no, there is a patch also for every single one besides that. But after 5 hours I only had the base, WA and High end Loft in, and was ready for bed. So I restarted about 10 this morning - NOT KNOWING there was a whole site maintenance today - which said 3 pm PST (I found that info over at Sims VIP) which should not have been until 6 here - but all of a sudden the site went offline between 1 -2 this afternoon and nothing I could do would give me anything but Liam telling me the site was down for maintenance - made even less sense when I saw at Sims Vip that it should have still been working. I tried all over the site. So then I tried to go to all the places we used to go for patches, and seems for some reason they no longer have them on their sites anymore or on Sims wiki - they all just have links that link right back to where we get them here or through the launcher. So looks like if we lose this site all the patches will go with it - which royally stinks. I had the same experience at Sims VIP and seems like 4 or 5 people swore up and down they had them on their site. Yeah, the links - that come right back here.

So I have only managed now to have in through Town Life. Only half of the disks I have so far - in the order they all came out. It wasn't even 8 months ago I was able to add all my eps and sps and patches in about 6 hours - so what ever they did makes this a massive job just reinstalling everything. No darn wonder everyone now just resets the game - but unfortunately I could not do that.

Anyway, if I miss you before you leave for Vacation messing with this reinstall - have a great trip, gets some fun in (is that possible with family hehehe), and some refreshing rest and relaxation in. Hugs - Stay safe my friend. Reg
