Chapter 3.7 “If the Sun refused to Shine”
I had my first romance that summer in July, meet with all my friends at the town summer festival and ended up flirting with Kenny. Althought he was not the boy of my dreams, he was a boy and I was a girl and we both was in that age where you want to try out all this adult stuff. I got my first awkward kiss under the tree that night.

A broke up with him in late August. He was very sad, hurt not only on his feelings but also on his pride. My first victim in the labyrint of love.

You could not see it from our plain cottage, but money was no longer a problem in my family. Rather that my eccentric intellectual parants liked the on surface rustic lifestyle.
Mother got herself a new upscale laptop, they got a new car and more important for me, I got a pair of very nice wheels at my 16 years birthday.

Riding “him” at Roads around town, taking him to school, passing the festival site at full trottle, everyone turning their heads. Immense sense of youthful power and freedom.

Some things retrospectively seemed bound to happen. Benni and David became a couple, and now that she was old enough to move out from her parents, she moved in with him at the end of that summer.
