Awesome thread!
One of the things that took me awhile to figure out that other knew (kept missing the threads where it was talked about) is that in order toget your Sims paintings to stay with an uploaded lot you have to leave them unframed. Otherwise they disappear when uploaded.
I'm mad no aa museum build I stared framing the pictures. Now I know they won't upload. Thanks for the info.
You can upload them as long you put them in a chest. I put instructions on where to place the painting on a inscription plaque. This will not work for photographs.
Umm i have noticed that photos are a different animal. I dont really trust them atm. But it could be just my game. My photos on my last lot made the lot list as an object in custard. And my salt and pepper bird does the same now. Ever since generations. I am having one of the best technical peeps on this forum check out the lots and see if its just my machine or a problem since generations. I will let you all know the results because we all like to jazz up our lots with interesting stuff. Photos are one of those interesting things.
What does work is puting your photos in a camera before you upload a lot and give instructions on the lot that there are photos in camera and just place them in the frames. They work just fine and the lot remains a lot and package..not an object.
