Hi I am pleased to see everyone finding some useful ideas here :-)
Just for those who dont know
HOW TO GET RID OF THE BUILDING GRID AND ANY BUYDEBUG GENERATORS SHOWING IN PICTURES
To not have the Grid in your Pics either have a sim on the lot while building as in Live mode no grid or generators are seen, or as many do just have the curser as 'Terrain Paint' Tool and use a small one so outside you can hide it under things, indoors it will not show at all.
To not see the Generators for butterflys etc all you have to do is turn the cheat/s off before taking your screenshots.
BTW as I now have 'Generations' and 'Town Life' I notices Loads of new things in buydebug including the Child Carer's car! I wondered where it was! There are many useful awards/statues that really up the room scores so your sim have 'Beautifully Decorated' Moodlet if you place a few around and these are great for contests that ask for good moods.
