:) Hey Thanks CORA some interesting Tips there, I learned a couple of things!
BTW if you do use the buydebug cheat code you will find the Pangu Axe and just put it on a sims wall or in his/her bag, very useful in Adventures abroad to smash rocks in the way. There is also many cheap relics to add to homes or community lots to go with a theme or just to keep to a budget.
If a sim is really poor just let them sleep in a Sarcophagus or have one in a basement fo a guest to sleep in..they will!! and sleep well if its a normal one.
