Ceiling floating tile problem
With floating ceiling tiles as it's best NOT to delete them with the sledgehammer if you can avoid it. That is what causes there to be holes in the ceiling.
What you do, is place a floor tile directly above the floating tile (you may have to place a wall or column underneath so you can). Then, you delete the floor tile. The floating ceiling tile will in most cases snap back into place and not leave a hole in the ceiling. It is really much easier to do this than fix holes in the ceiling!
