Hi for those simmers like me who build Starter Homes here are some useful Tips..
If you add Harvestables to the garden, make sure you harvest them as they count towards the Cost of the Starter!
Having a Tester sim with 10 Handiness skill is a real bonus as they get a discount when you purchase things, even wallpaper.
I use the 'Pool' wallpaper as it is only 3 simoleans a sheet and if you have a sim 10 Handy it only costs 2 a sheet!
The floor I use mostly is the 'Free' wood slat floor as you can put any pattern on it even Tile for bathrooms! Or stone a path pattern for outside.
