A Tip for Builders/Decorators
The Gift flowers that sims give each other are perfect for room decorations and the vase they are in can be recoloured as well. You can buy them at the grocery store as I do with my Tester sim.
The 'Wild flowers' are very attractive and come in many colours and in a glass vase you cant recolour. Just go into buydebug and add some wild flower generators to your community lots or even a residential. I put a few on a residential while I was upgrading and my sim picked some every day and before 'Save to Share' I just deleted them as they looked wrong on my plot.
