Good morning!!!
I am sure most simmers know about the cheat window and how to use it, but I wanted to post a few anyway, just in case we have some newbies out there.
Step one: (I do this before I load a saved game)
press Ctrl+shift+C (at same time) to enter cheat window
Step two: enter "testingcheatsenabled true" without quotes, press enter
Step three: load game
Step four: In Live/Build mode press Ctrl+shift+C (at same time)
Step five: enter your cheat code (type in "help" for a list)
Have fun!!
Note: I type in the "testing cheats enabled true" code first so I can raise my sim's happiness points up front.
To Do This: While you are in live mode, (this will not work if you did not type in code BEFORE you loaded your game) bring up the menu at bottom of page that shows happiness points. Press and Hold Ctrl and click (using mouse) the space between your points and the chest. Your happiness points should go up 500 points with each click.
Note: also, if you did not type in "testing cheats enabled true" before or during your game, you can press Ctrl+Shift+ C and type in "help",and there will be some different codes for you to choose from.
I know most simmers LOVE to play, and I do to, some times, but I enjoy the building/decor side even more. Soooo...... these cheats and hints come in handy when building and decorating.
