Both of them can now be bought at the grocery store :D. There is a house picture at the top of the choices, next to produce and meat. With Generations you can buy flowers, birthday cake, bubble bath, and rubber duckey.
Sometimes I do put second floors. Since this is for Barnacle Bay, and there is a spiral staircase, I should do that for one of these remodels...hhmmmmm...
But if you use Debugbuy, you can do it while you're building the house, w/o having a sim move in and buy stuff.
I'm still irked about that staircase. I bought Barnacle Bay about a month before the staircase and the other things were added. They did allow us to get some of the other "bonus items" but not the staircase. I still haven't got it.
