Dangerous Curves Cycle 4 - WINNER ANNOUNCED

With a couple of my competitions ending, I feel it's only necessary that I host another competition!! :p

This competition is a fun one that has attracted some fun and inspired competition! This is all about the curvier girls out there. We love the thin models too, don't get me wrong, but we want to see more Curvy (plus sized) models gracing the runways and showing off their stuff in competitions.

So, there ya go! This competition is a fashion competition - which means assignments should look like editorial spreads or otherwise fashion photography photos (if you Google "fashion photography", you'll see what I mean). Assignments are pretty straight forward and simple enough - so it will be up to you to show off the creative side of yourself!

Female Models that are CURVY are required for this competition!

No negativity of any kind. This includes belittling yourself.
Editing is recommended, but not required.
You may draw your own clothing, hair, makeup, features, etc.
Hair and eye color are allowed depending on the assignment.
Extensions are granted if asked for 24 hours in advance.
No max on amount of extensions granted.
2 day limit on extensions.
Deadlines are pacific standard time. Adjust accordingly.
Creativity is helpful!

    FINAL ASSIGNMENT: DISNEY BRIDE

    The title basically says it all, but there are some catches and some requirements. This will also require you to really get creative with who you choose to depict.

    Here are the catches:
    **You cannot pick a Disney Princess who gets married in her story. For example, no Cinderella, no Jasmine, no Ariel, etc.
    **You may pick ANY female disney character (other than one who was a bride in her story) - whether she be a main character or one that was perhaps overlooked in the story as a side character.

    Here are the requirements:
    **Pick a female Disney character and turn her into the most amazing bride ever.
    **Her look must depict whatever style suits her time period, genre, etc. For example, if you choose someone from the Ancient Greek era, don't put her in a gown that looks like it came from the Victorian era
    **Full bodyshot
    **The final photo should look like one out of a bridal magazine, meaning she should be the focus of the shot and there would be some thought put into her styling (obviously) and her set. Don't make her set boring!!

    Model Appearance: Does your model look like she belongs in the setting? This is a fashion competition, so does your model look like a fashion model?

    Relativity: Does your entry do what was asked of you for the assignment?

    This has been an amazing cycle of Dangerous Curves. You ladies have proven to be pretty awesome and every contestant was phenomenal throughout the entire competition. I love this competition and I love the models that always come out of it!

    Your scores were VERY close and this was a really tough assignment for us judges to critique. You are both so unique in your style of editing and you came up with some very different kinds of brides to portray! You both rock.

    This is an amazing photo from almost every standpoint. The editing is gorgeous, the coloring is perfect for Maelficent, and she looks beautiful. However…I don’t see bride in this. I know she’s a villain and her photo should appear dark and her photo should look very ominous – which it does – but I don’t get bride out of this. I’m not sure if it’s the pose or the outfit, but it’s just not really bridal.

    I absolutely adore this! You pulled off her look very well and the styling was great! I love the set, the magic, and everything works together wonderfully. My only complaint is this doesn't seem very wedding like, and I think it's her pose that’s not pulling it through here. Wonderful job though and good luck <3

    This is very pretty. I love the idea of picking a character that was very important, but not a main star. Drizella was definitely an ugly duckling, but Nikki makes her look stunning! I love the look in her eye and that dress really accentuates her beautiful curves! I will say that I felt like this wasn’t really a wedding shot. Aside from the veil, the rest looks like what she would typically wear on a daily basis, and the setting doesn’t look quite done up enough for a grand wedding. I think some lace, maybe a bit more frills on the dress, perhaps some guests or pews in the background would have really tied it all into the whole bridal shot thing. This is beautiful though!

    Adorable, Maggie! I love how it was one of the less known characters and how well you pulled this off! I love the dress on her, suits her nicely and the hair is gorgeous! The background is nice and simple, but maybe a tad bit too simple for her wedding? Also, her veil seems to be a bit off on her head, and theres just this tad little weird seam thing going on near one of the green parts of the dress on her top. Amazing job and good luck! <3

    If you have something to increase the number of sliders you can have... that's the first thing. Then you need something to increase the range (how far you can slide?) I use S-Club's slider hack at 3x range and that does BOTH of these functions. It's no longer available (you get a 404 error) but if you ask Beech or me (I emailed it to HER lol) one of us can email it to ya! I believe Master Controller does at least the NUMBER of sliders you can have, but doesn't have as many range options as other slider hacks do... correct me if I'm wrong though!

    For mods I just lurk the s3cc tag on Tumblr XD or spend a long time googling what I want and going "no... no... maybe... um... sure..."

    Does anyone have a recommended world for modeling? My models need to be moved to a new world. xD

    OH and I forgot to say that my sliders now work perfectly. I had outdated NRAAS mods, so fixed that then installed Cmar's hack just in case. ^_^

    I recommend Aluna Island for modeling. It's empty home lots with some filled community lots. On an island. With diving.

    Me neither till today, you need the most updated animation file (like that zip file) and the most updated rigs the blonde haired ones then down at the right under s3py tools where load prop etc are there is set morphs and it's that you can also choose the size of a pregnant belly with it!


    Do we download them from the Sims3ClipTool, and do we need that specific version of Blender or can we use the new version of Blender?


    Yeah! I don't think the blender version you have matters since I just installed it again the other week so I will probably have the new blender, you just need to re download the animation thing (you know the one that's a zip file that you have to add in your preferences?) you need the newest one of that and the newest rig files that you can download from sims3cliptool website :)

    All my life I have loved to dance but after many auditions i gave it up because I was always told "I'm sorry Jennifer, you're too fat".
    I then discovered photography, whats not to love about me? I'm a curvy gal with grace and experience behind the camera as-well as in front of it. The perfect package right?

    omgggg I finally was able to make and bin Sidra. Without the game crashing. But I might sit this comp out cause I broke my toeeee today. And sprained my knee and cut it to pieces.

    My bad hip gave out and I started to fall, twisted in a panic to avoid hitting my head on the counter, snapped my toes back and they're all bruised and one's broken, bruised my knee and leg, and I apparently fell on a tiny shard of broken glass cause when my knee slid I got a huge cut in it.

    Apparently walking six feet from my office to the kitchen without a cane is a bad idea lol.

    Anyway I'll try to decide if I'mma enter... I know I don't have that long to decide, but even if I don't end up joining, at least I have a really pretty sim that I'm happy with :D
