Front street lamps and Al fresco clutter (Share Your Wares Carry Cart) maybe some WA buydebug clutter. The back benches, possibly out door food/drink available, picnics tables, fire pit(s) with shrubs. Or make it closed off/secret garden like, harvestables, gnomes, personal garden as if it was the inn keepers wife's little patch of green. Anyways that is what I would think a tavern would have for exterior stuff.
