EXACTLY. His fame held him in a position that people either loved or hated him. And he was born in 1945, so at that time, the things he may have said, were said by MILLIONS of people. But yes, he was never violent.
I'm sure you're a good singer. Better than me. I used to be an opera singer before I joined the Navy, and then I started smoking... I can still do it though. It impresses people. I'm like... why? XD
I used to sing a lot with my sister... we'd sing to the Rent soundtracks and she'd do the Mimi ones and I'd do the Maureen ones. Or if she asked nicely I'd sing the guy parts for her. She had cancer, and unfortunately my sister died six years ago. She'd always go "Can you do Roger, you have an insane range, and I don't?" Of course I will. In reality I did Soprano 1 often, but I can get as low as alto 2.
Anyway.
I can give you tips on singing, but I won't unless you want me to. I love a lot of different kinds of music, like Bowie was my favorite, Janis Joplin and Stevie Nicks are close seconds and thirds, I adore Tarja Turunen even though she was kinda a diva and I love Annette who followed her and Floor Jansen who followed Annette. Basically since Bowie died, my favorite artist is Nightwish.
If I record myself doing Nightwish, will you do your Motorhead? I'll even post it and everything !
