Shoulda reserved a spot for pictures! Well this will be the official post for my picture updates.
Updated Overview: 7/25/10

A top down view of the Island so far.

This is broad view down the length of the Island.

This is an overhead view of part of the Island, it's pretty big, I couldn't get the other half of the Island in the picture, but you see most of that part below and in the first pic.

This is a view of one of the waterfalls, mountains, and Buffy Summers house down in the corner opposite the beach.

This is a view of the other waterfall with a spot for a house in front of it, the waterfall goes straight down into a pit to sea level and I made the illusion of an underground cave for the water to flow through. I will jazz this area up a bit more later on.
7/30 Update:

This is the art museum

Art museum, theater/diner lot, and two sculptor walks

This is the horror district, the house is the home of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

An updated overhead view of the "normal" district, for lack of a better description,

Updated overhead view of the Horror District.
9/14 Updated photos

Nighttime view of the bissiness district.

View of the biz district from the otherside of the mountains showing off part of the mountain road.

A Beach rock formation

A beachside hangout by the waterfalls.

Another view of the beach hangout showing the waterfall view.
Update 9-18-10
Here are some pictures of the campus that I spent the better part of my evening yesterday working on. :D

This is the upper floor of the library. It has a floor the goes around the perimeter and you can look down in the the lower floor. This is where the majority of the book shelves are.

This is a pic on the lower floor of the library where there is a grand fireplace and seating area near the back. Also included in the library are two sunken computer areas, a kids zone, and many pieces of wall and sculpture art to look at and two koi ponds

This is a pic of the front of the library which was built to fit in with the school that came with Twinbrooke I believe..the blue one with gray/whiteish trim...ah..you'll see it below!.
This is an aerial view of the whole campus, the school with a large platform for a statue out front, the library nearby and a playground across the street.

Another, better view of the art museum interior.

Art museum exterior.

City Hall

Graveyard

Graveyard again! The sim in some of these pictures is Navek's avi sim that I downloaded to use in the baby-momma thread. He hates art so it was interesting bringing him to all these places to check them out, lol.

Puddle Jumper Park. Show's my attempt at an arched bridge, included many things to do besides fishing. Chess, painting, gnubbs, firepit...

Horror district laundromat/gym/pool. Keep scrolling for inside pics.

The Withering Woods: The haunted (well, could be haunted if you moved in some actual ghosts during play..lol) woods that lets your sim explore the local body dumping grounds of local serial killers. In this location you can also experience the change in the environment where the forest goes from lively and bright to dead and dark between the two districts.

The brighter side of the Withering Woods

Another view

The Criminal Headquarters and the junkyard.

Bates Motel: Sorry creator-whose-name-I-can't-think-of-now, had to get rid of the beautiful landscaping...*cringe*..sorry, it didn't fit in with the story of the neighborhood which is that noting alive can grow from the soil there any longer.

The Grocery, Consignment shop, and bookstore.

Tattoo parlor and Spa

Community Garden: I really like how this turned out, it was on a rather steep hill, so I made it tiered, there are 4 areas and it includes all the exotic plants from WA as well as all but the "Special" plants from Base. Sorry about the spawners in the photo though :P they really mess with the view.

Pool from the "Right side of town" Where the pool for the Horror district was worn and crummy looking, this one is bright, sunny, and lush with plant life. It also has an indoor area with boys and girls restrooms, Foosball, gym equipment, and 3 bars...ahhh...it's good to be good! Scroll for more up-close pics

12-18-10: Here are the new uploads, some of them are pictures of sims in the world that I took as I was testing it out yesterday, others are vistas that I may use as the worlds thumbnail. If you like, let me know which you like the best for the worlds thumbnail that you would see in the main menu. :D

A view I had from my sims house, I think this is my favorite angle of the mountains.

My sim painting at the park

An older couple enjoying a romantic evening at the beach.

My sim enjoying an evening by the waterfalls.

A sim jogging with a great view

A couple resting outside the movie theater and diner

An older couple enjoying the sculpture walk

A sim fishing by the lighthouse fishing spot

A sim fishing by Tunnel Rock, the land here is a bit steeper than I thought, it's one of the things I plan to tweak before releasing the BETA

The Withering Wood, complete with the ghosts of victims past! BYOV (bring your own victims :P)

This and the following are different views of the town, these are the ones I may use as thumbnails, help me pick one!
