I personally wish there were some larger ones. Than including everything would not be an issue and I could create my own custom distant terrain without having to use mods, and I wouldn't have to worry about hiding the oceans on the edge of the map. I'm guessing we don't have bigger maps because of the issues with frame rate and file sizes getting ridiculously huge.
