It is harmless.36 Lots (16 Residential, includes three starter homes & 20 Community Lots, includes five bars). All lots are pre-constructed, there are no empty lots for building on. Residential lot sizes are mostly small, ranging from 10x10 to 30x30. Feel free to bulldoze.There are only two rabbithole job based buildings, the City Hall and Hogan`s Deep Sea Diner. The general store (contains book store register), consignment store and mausoleum/graveyard are included. Thanks so much for all the nice comments DD, Reg, Lennon777, DutchySim, Startspring and Maria_loves_alex, it really does my heart good :) DD, no, of course I wasn`t directing the "small world" comment at you personally, though I can see how you may think that :wink: It was more to do with the lack of rabbitholes, more than anything. I was going for more of a self employment kind of feel on the island (a remnant from the island`s "hippy" past). So calm yourself down young lady :wink: Reg, actually, the last comment I viewed before going to bed last night was yours saying you were about to download and take a peek. It was very nice to wake up today and read the lovely things you said about MR. I`m really glad you seemed to enjoy the island.As you may know, the hotel apartment caused me no end of grief. I had to rebuild it three times from scratch (and in three different ways) and everytime the bills were way too high. I ended up removing a lot of items from the hotel to reduce the bills down from S2,300 to S1,200 followed by S800, hence the way it looks now. The island is a bit of an experiment, at least to me anyway. I tried a few things on MR that perhaps I wouldn`t try with a larger world, I got a lot of things out of my system working on MR. I had/still have (?) the intention of releasing an empty version of MR without lots or roads for those who want an empty tropical island. In saving a version without those things, I accidently removed all the lots in the main world, so the version you see now is the only one I have (though I`m sure I have a back-up save?) :? Oh! the drama! I need a break, at the moment I`m completely Mariners Reached out!Lennon777, I should have called the island "Toilet Porch Reach" 8) DutchySim, awww, that`s so sweet. This place is great - but where are the girls??A few nights later (and a CAS trip for Webby :lol: ) - here's Nathan at a club. He's met Janine Foster and they danced the night away together. But no worries, it's all fixed up and Nathan has registered as a self-employed fisherman. :-) Janine will do that pretty soon, too.He and Janine are now going steady and they've bought an empty lot on the beach just behind the little blue beach house where they've been living. I'm in the process of creating a stunning celebrity beach home for them. *snicker* Riiight. Nathan is now a Level 3 celeb and Janine Level 2. I figure that's only fair, being as Coasterboi is a bit of celeb. :lol: They've gone off all dressed to the nines to The Green Room to have a celebratory evening out while I stay behind to build the house. Sheesh. I'm feeling left out. :roll: All I get is this mailbox and trash can, and a lot full of sand. *pouts*

This looks great! I have been looking at that world in your signature waiting to see what it will look like. Oh When I first saw the last picture I thought you put a toilet on the porch. :mrgreen: but your world awsome! isn't this your first tropical world?

It`s funny you thought I placed a toilet on the porch, I wish I had now.

OOh, just in time to try it out Johnny. Looks peaceful and serene. I wonder if it is possible for me to crawl through my screen and go there myself. I could use it - but looks wonderful.

LOL, your comment on the world not being for everyone, followed by Small World, could certainly be directed at me. Most likely you've seen me post at least 50 times that I don't download small worlds.

Still, I couldn't resist commenting on the visual beauty of the world in your pics. Sure makes me wish I didn't have the mind-set of wanting all rabbit holes present and accounted for. I may end up downloading just to get a peek anyway. The pics are so enticing! It's so obvious you have done another awesome world :D

Just spent about 5 hours in your world and it played flawlessly. My sim first had the little blue starter but it seemed everytime I turned around - like to take a break to make some herbal tea or to feed my cats, which I tend to do when things are going well, I'd come back and find my Sim in the bar with the colorful aligators with top hats on out front - hopefully that pinpoints it as I never did catch it's name. No I don't have a sim with a drinking problem, she has a passion for the instruments as well as the male mixologists and seeing I wasn't apt to make that relationship blossom - he's a bit odd and talks to things like the rose bushes in front of the hotel - but anyway I decided to make it harder for her to get there without me catching her, I moved her all the way up to that Husbands hill place in the midst of the jungle. Lovely up there by the way. That went fine for a while, but I was having trouble keeping her socials up as the only sim she knew was the mixologist - so I went the other way, and moved her to the hotel apartment.

Wouldn't you know it, that is precisely where ALL the towns mixoligists and everyone else including the paper boy lives - but all in all it's working out fabulously. Her apartment even came with a guitar and she has her motives maxed all the time now. So she's been skilling away for all her traits with the exception of green thumb. I did not realize you had a community garden - which I found out is the perfect way to fix her green thumb ability, and on top of that the fellow I was sort of hoping she would be compatiable with also has a green thumb, is also an artist and virtuoso, and athletic as well. I only found the garden right before I was ready to quit for the night - so I know where I'll be going when I come back - well not me literally - my sim of course.

Like DD, I actually like at least medium size or larger worlds and all the rabbitholes and everything - so I was really surprised I was actually having a ball playing your little world.

During the 5 hours I played, every single house filled up, which shocked me as it usually takes at least a couple of game sessions to get all houses filled. It seems all sims want to live on your island Johnny. I did have similar occurrence on M'kee too, so sims are highly attracted to the places you build.

Anyway, great job and thankyou for a perfect little world. It was such a pleasure after the week I've had this week.
