The dining room looks lovely. <3 Matches the kitchen well from what I could remember.
Sad that Jerich lost his soulmate back then...I wonder what happened there? (Or did I forget something? :confused: )
We do tend to inherit some great abilities from our parents. :blush: I love that L has inherited writing from me. <3
Interesting story involving Daniel, Daisy and Elias. I am very curious as to why Elias was there. Had he heard their screams and was coming to their rescue, but failed? Or was he the guy that called them there in the first place and unfortunately got caught in the explosions? OR...was he just an innocent victim, heading to the abandoned warehouse for a personal reason? Maybe to be alone and think? I'm so curious! :grin:
I'd be praying the smoke would take me before the flames too! :flushed: So terrible!

^When I read this part I scrolled down slowly cause I thought maybe a new character was going to be introduced, for some reason. ;) I was going to say that was a divine thought he received there, but perhaps it was more his empath abilities. ;)

Jamie is right. So many people think asking for help makes them appear weak and it's so not true! (How many times have I had to tell hubby that in the past...? Silly guy. :p )
So beautiful what Jamie did for Layla (like he did for Bekka) and being that far away no less! He's amazing! <3 I hope his care and concern for her will help soften her heart.
It's interesting, but my sister totally believes that we can speak to each other through our spirits from great distances. Part of me wonders if that's really true, or is it only when God allows it? ?♀️ Anyway,

"Tonight and tomorrow are for us. No oracles, no research, no fire ghosts. Just you and me. Sounds good?"
"It sounds perfect to me!"
They walk hand in hand up the stairs Damien pausing to kiss Mary once more halfway up the stairs. They make it to the bedroom and quickly undress and Damien pulls her next to him on the bed. They kiss and giggle and cuddle together and finally dive under the covers unable to stop fulfilling their desires.
