Pretty dining area! You did such a nice job bekkasan oh I mean Bekka! and I really like the windows and the lights!
Am I missing something or did I forget, Is Layla still searching for her soulmate?

The ghosts sure do not want to come forth to Damien! he has to drag information out of them! Oh my what a horrible ordeal they went thru!!! :o I can't even imagine.
OMG I think Elias was somehow responsible for their death! And now that the fire ghosts are friends, He doesn't want them to know what He Did!! :o Oh how awful for them all! :( :'(
I love the part where Bekka is staring into the fire and scritchily scratching the kitties and their loud purring! ahhhh I remember that lovely feeling and sound and the sense of peace so well! <3 Felines are amazing in their healing just by being There! <3
I'm glad Damien and Mary have time for lovin and that Damien has set aside the next day for them! But I can't even be happy for their love because she is going to disappear too soon. :'( I find myself distancing from them, because I don't like sadness, I don't handle it well at all, and try to avoid it. But I am so glad to see they have tonight together. Sad love is so Sad! :'(
Yes poor Layla I really feel for her! My baby sis is kind of that way, a loner, she says she likes it. refusing love and all these guys want something permanent, are glad when she lets them move in, then they drift off after her rebuff of permanence. I always worry about her being alone, I can just see her now, Sweeping her Roof! Who takes a selfie on a Roof! :# she is aging now, what if something happens, is her dog supposed to drive her to the hospital? At least she has a cell phone now, for two years she refused.
so Layla, just what is your deal? Do you climb on Roof's? Why have You chosen to close yourself off to Love??? WHY??? Do you even have a dog to drive you to the hospital?
Cute phone call, Didn't Jamie tell her he is on his way home, pronto?! (with magical Lee?) I can't Wait to see that, btw!!! I am so excited and anticipating it!!! Lee! <3
OMG!!! So Excellent the healing Jamie did! :o Wow! He Knew!! and Called Layla!!! Long distance healing Very cool!! B) I LOVE how he can take the bad into himself and just make it dissolve! He is My Very Favorite Person in the Story which I think should now be re-named to

OK at first I thought you were trying to describe Jamie's special abilities are because you told about the transfusion/accepting blood from Layla, BUT I thought I remembered Jamie telling Bekka he has always been like this, his ability to sense and heal! right? Since he was little!!!
And WHY did Jamie need Layla to save him? it wasn't a motorcycled accident was it? grrrrr Now I am really curious!!!
