AznSensei thank you for making this thread. There are some imaginative and interesting builds and Sims in here.
I have only one build including items from Midnight Hollow. It is my Carter's Corner Store. It is a block of 7 stores in a single building that fits on a 35x25 lot.
I've been having a lot of fun with it in my games.
A shot of it in Aurora Skies. I originally built it in Midnight Hollow. Then I moved it around through several different worlds. The problem I had with it in Midnight Hollow was the dead trees poking through the walls. I didn't want them in my shots so I moved it out of that town to get cleaner pictures of it.

She actually owned the store and it made it much easier to be able to make adjustments to it if the Sim owned it. It is named for her too as her last name is Carter.
A stray NPC decided to visit the toy store and started putting away all the toys I had scattered around on the floor. I caught another one at it a little later. There are almost no toys on the floor now and over 40 in the toy box.

Apparently NPC's use the items on sale as if they are in their own homes.
After the stores all closed for the day, a group of NPCs and 1 of my Sims gathered on the footpath and played guitar and danced and purchased plants all night. It was about 3 am when I got this shot and they'd been at it since sundown. :D There are several other NPCs around. The woman buying plants had been dancing with another Sim a few minutes before I got this shot.

My Sim in Aurora Skies is enjoying a visit to the Magic Shop. She wants to be a Rock Star and is about half way there. When she 'makes it' I hope she will be able to afford to buy the store. It is almost 585,776 for a Sim to purchase the business.

I made her specially for this game so it is the first time I've had her to play with. I've got over 300 households saved - I've made them and kept them since 2009. I get to know them and it is fun to reuse them. But it is also fun to make new ones occasionally.
I've noticed the game announces when the store has sales. Just like it announces sales for the grocery store or book store. I got a surprise when that happened. I sent her out to buy some furniture from the furniture shop that is on the top floor.
The 7 stores in the build are:
Ground floor: Cafe, Magic, Garden shops
Middle floor: Toy, Sweets, Pet stores
Top floor: Furniture store
There are public rest rooms, including baby changing facilities on the ground floor, and restrooms on the Middle Floor. A children's outdoor play area is behind the garden shop.
Fire escapes allow Sims to escape out the back if there is a problem. I used the barrier to entry doors from the Plumbob Theater so they are lockable. Otherwise NPCs just wander into the shops all night when they are supposed to be closed. I was having a real problem keeping them out of the stores.
