These are in no particular order. From assignment 1 scores will be ranked in categories with the images.
Bjorn:
7/10
This is a nice lookbook, Bjorn! My main issue is that it just feels safe. That could be a semi-formal outfit someone might wear, but it doesn't seem high fashion. Your quality, is alright, not perfect. However, I really like your layout, and how you incorporated the blue color into your photo, it makes it appear sleek and professional. Nice job, just keep pushing the creativity to achieve a really unique photo!
Cudan:
8.5/10
Lovely lookbook, Cudan! Elisabeta is a real beauty. This outfit of hers makes her almost appear creepy, like a vampire or something, but I actually think it works nicely! Your outfit was a good choice, but with a dress like that, you should color it a slightly lighter gray, so it appears black but the highlights and shadows are still preserved. I like what you did with the layout, it works well with the outfit, but I would have like a slightly thicker border. Great job!

Mandi is so beautiful! That face! The outfit is a nice choice, though something about the pattern in black and white seems slightly off. Your layout is very nice, and your quality is stunning as always. The eye contact in your accessories shot is stunning, I would have liked to see it for the rest of your photos! Awesome job!

Cute, cute, CUTE! Diana looks adorable in this shot. Your image is bright and colorful which in most assignments can really make a photo stand out from the pack. Your bright black and red color scheme works wonderfully here because of the simplicity of her wardrobe. Of the three images I would have to say I like the full body the least because the pose is a little stiff. However that’s a personal opinion and you will come across that often in modeling comps.

I like the coloring you chose here. You chose one bright accent color which pops against the other muted tones. Lizelle has a very pale skin tone, so you have to be careful. She can completely wash out against light colored backgrounds so her makeup is always going to be a big priority to keep that from happening. Your images are nice, but they are very simplistic. I don’t see any real personality coming through in the shots. With fashion poses you want your model to “sell” the wardrobe by showing the personality that comes with it. If she’s dressed fierce, then she should pose fierce.
Rosie
6/10
This isn’t bad Rosie. Your model is well styled, and accessorized. Of the three shots in the entry, my least favorite would be the full body shot. There is a lot pixilation around her body, and the pose is kind of awkward with her looking off into the distance. In most modeling assignments eye contact will be a very important element of your work.

First of all what I want to say is that I looooovvveee your set up for the shots! It's very clean and creative! Such a good job with that. I love the styling and that dress is just so perfect. Your photo quality is great too. One thing I don't like is how all the shots of your model are looking in pretty much the same direction. I would've liked to seen your body shot looking to the left or the headshot at the top looking to the left for some diversity. Also I don't like the expression of the headshot at the top, its a little goofy for the style and edge you are portraying in the image. A pose with her looking fiercely into the camera would've worked way better. Other than that, super job! ^-^

Great shot! I love the styling (especially the hair <3), thats very well done. The poses you chose for the full and headshot are nice, however I don't like the one you chose for the hands in shot. I would've preferred to see something more fierce and sexy then smiley and jazz hands. Also I think you overdone that same accessory, you have a ring, bracelet and a earring. I think just that brand of earring and some other jewelry for the ring and bracelet, its just a little too much. The only other complaint is that your bodyshot is a little cut off at her hand and elbow and feet. I it was zoomed out just a teeny bit it would've have been perfecto! Otherwise, awesome job, Michelle! :)
Socal
7.5/10
Your model looks gorgeous Socal! I see you went for a sophisticated flirty look with the reds and her updo. I think you did pretty good job for the styling however I think the pink eyeshadow was too much, a smokey color would've worked better with the red lipstick. I also didn't really like the shoes that you chose, I think they came with an expansion pack correct? I think another pair of black heels would've looked better. As for quality its very nice but there are alot of blurred/choppy parts on her feet/lower leg area & around her head/neck in the bodyshot. Overall, nice job Socal! (:
Ava
7/10
Your model looks so lovely and innocent in this picture with her big doe eyes! The quality in the picture looks pretty good however I find that this picture is slightly too saturated. Also the glow on her face is too much and overpowers her features. As for styling its cute and simple. However I don't like the shirt much because of its low quality. The shorts are okay, however I would've liked to have seen a skirt instead to go with the cute style of the bow & her hair and the bow on her shoes. Remember to have an aim for what style you are trying to go for and keep consistent in the entire look. One last thing is that I would've liked the size of the headshots to be a little smaller because they distract a bit from the bodyshot. All in all good job, the poses are great and your model looks very pretty Ava. :D

Holy cow I love the way Rosalyn's hair looks! It's very realistic, I'm in love. I'm a fan of your pose choice and the way the lookbook is composed. I do find the line behind brings down the quality as you can tell the picture was taken in a room. I also find your model's face in the bodyshot very bright in comparison to your other shots. Great mock though Maddie ^^
Kendall
8/10
Jay is so stunning in this, I love her aqua blue eyes. I also really like your styling, it's very pretty. I do find your picture kind of flat? probably due to the sharpening, especially in that lower headshot. I thought the poses were decent, a little boring but they are nice for a lookbook. Really nice work Kendall!
Lily

Scarlett looks very fashionable, I'm a huge fan of your styling. I also liked that you used a different layout than the others, made it really stand out. My only minor complaint would be your circle sizes, you can tell they're of different sizes and the top one is not quite a perfect circle. But otherwise, I really like your mock so great job Lily ^^
Mahogany: 3/10
Dim lighting is the most obvious here. Try out buydebug invisible lights. They work wonders. And play around with the light moving closer and farther from your model to see what light she looks best in. And cropping of the pictures, the bottom right picture looks stretched, try to avoid re-sizing, it usually distorts the image. Your styling was ok, and accessorized, but I’m not a fan of the pants, maybe it’s the print? It just doesn't go well together. Overall, this was a great start! With some simple fixes your next photo will be great!
Angel: 10/10
I adore your photos. There is just something magical about it. Love the hair, and all the added detail you gave it, makes is really stand out and look real. Your style is epic, and your editing is awesome. The only things I see, is lack of eye contact in the head shots, and the head shots seem a touch darker than the body shot. But I hope to be as good as you are Angel, you really have a talent!
Pep: 5/10
Maybe some more color, with your models skin and hair color being so light, she’s blending in the white background. I would have went with red being more dominant in the outfit, to bring more color and life to the picture. Overall the picture were good though, maybe add eye contact next time so she captivates the viewer, with those eyes looking at you really make s a bold statement!
Samm: 8/10
Need to work on removing all the background from your model. Especially in the hair, and against any shadows or darker background. I think you’ve got the hang of lighting, and camera angles, and posing, all those look great. And I especially like your styling, Her bright hair is gorgeous against the light blue dress.
Franco: 7/10
Great start! The things that can be improved on this image are real easy, Lighting. It seems like the lighting was perhaps too far away, or not directly on your model. Use buydebug invisible lights, they will be your friend! And Eye Contact, especially for head shots, unless you are trying to convey an emotion that would call for a closed eye or looking away from the camera. And game settings, if you can, turn all the way up, even if it just for the picture. Edge smoothing, Visual effects, lighting and shadows, sims detail, and texture detail, turned all the way up. You can leave the world settings down if you are doing an indoor shot. Your style is rockin’ though. Good pose choices, nice layout for the look, and attention to little things like polish makes the whole outfit come together.
Ayana
8/10
Very good first assignment Ayana! I love your styling here other than I'm not the keenest on the hair choice as with the hair flowing to the side you'd expect the loose garments she's wearing to be flowing also but not a biggie. I like the poses you've chosen although i think you need to work on eye contact as I don't think in any of the three shots there was any eye contact at all. The layout of your lookbook was good although I think borders between each shot would have looked better still. Mainly just more details were needed to make this better, maybe if you'd have had some sort if prop like a bag, stool or even just something like the dress flowing to make your entry stand out more!
Mizzie
7/10
Nice shot Mizzie! Your lighting was nice and clean, as was your styling! I love the clutch although it looks more like it is morphing into her hand than it looks like she's holding it but that's only a small detail. I'm not the biggest fan of the finger gloves as they don't look the best quality. Although I do love the rest of your outfit! The main problem which Maggie can teach you really well is probably the lack of eye contact and camera controls because the Bodyshot is almost tilted away from your model so she is looking away from the camera and there's no eye contact in the headshots either. Also I think skin shading could be good for you to make her skin seem smoother and more depth to it!
