Side-note: There should be a moodlet like nearly died or something for this type of situation. Thank goodness I had that deathflower. I didn't want a ghost sim for this game. I was shocked. Playing in a new world and trying to accomplish something kept me busy and I wasn't even thinking about death. I have never had a sim get hit by a meteorite before. Gives a new meaning to this world rocks. :)
If there is only one Sin in the house and they die, the game ends and you get kicked back to the main menu. You can only get a ghost if there is somebody else in the household, and the other sim gets the opportunity from the Science Lab.
