Hi everyone, here's to the start of the weekend and hopefully a good one for us all! Super cold in my neck of the woods, but a lovely sunny day today so that brings a smile to my face. 😄
Here's my first build for our world... Petite Alsace Covered Bridge, inspired by a combination of the Ponts Couverts and Barrage Vauban landmark bridges in Strasbourg. The interior pays rough homage to the dam 'mechanism' used in the old days for defence, and a few activities are scattered around the lot for sims gameplay. I've intentionally kept the decor quite light which downloaders can personalize as desired. Hope you like it 🙂
Edit! I forgot to mention... I can't add mirrors to my builds without the game crashing so please bear with me and add mirrors above the sinks in the washrooms, if desired. Hopefully I can find a solution in the near future.

This looks amazing 😁 I love the design and the walkways. The top looks like a great place for sims to take photos when the town is complete.
My sims play-testing the castle are really bored as there's nowhere to go so thank you!
The bridge is lovely! 🙂It reflects your real life inspiration very well! The architectural design is great! Very nice sculpture exhibits and art display gallery areas. The bar stools counter area is very nice.

soocoolsim, Wow, love your covered bridge! It turned out really well and looks a lot like your inspiration. I like how the walkways look and that there are some activities for sims to do there. And I thought the top deck looked really neat as an observation area. And very creative how you made the bottom floor look like water where you CFE'ed it! Very nicely done! 👍😀
