So the chateau is finally ready. It's not an exact replica, as I added to the detailing in places, and I added nectar making equipment, lots of fruit harvestables, a nectar cellar - hence the name. I mean, doesn't the best wine always seem to have 'chateau' on the label? 😁
I'll leave players to make the harvestables perfect but my sims have upgraded all the plumbing and fireplaces. I played this for a day (human time) with a couple and their 5 children. The sloping loft is all accessible, the walkout cellar and swimmable pond all work as they should.

Chateau Riesling is very lovely! 🙂The architectural exterior design,roofing and towers are very great! The interior furnishing of each room is very lovely. The colours are very nice and the wall panelling and wall patterns are very nice. The bedrooms designs are very pretty. The kids room is sweet with the mice wall pattern 💗Very lovely curtains in all the rooms. The outdoors dining courtyard is very nice.
whatsociallife , Oh my goodness! I can't believe how fast you built your castle and did all that decorating, sheesh! That would take me weeks and weeks to do! Chateau Riesling has the perfect name and the exterior resembles your inspiration castle very well. I love the pool area that looks like a pond, very nice. And all the rooms are decorated so pretty and is very befitting of a castle. There was so much to explore! I really like your 2-story library with the loft area and the colors and patterns you did there. You did a fabulous job on your CFE - great work!! And what views this lot has!! Very nice.

What a beautiful chateau whatsociallife ! I'm so happy you persevered with tweaking the roof edge CFE. It looks awesome inside and out from the landscaping and interesting architecture to the lovely and luxurious decor. A perfect home for established sims!
