I thought I'd challenge myself. I don't really like landscaping so why not choose the beach?😂 Actually, it was a bit nostalgic and I'm really pleased with the result. My mum is French so we often visited these 'beaches' - the man made kind built by lakes - they're pretty popular in France. As this example will show, there are often food options - sadly the Sims 3 doesn't offer moules-frites, but pizza is a close second!
Nicknamed 'The Lutz', this popular, family-friendly picnic spot has been a popular day out in La Petite Alsace for decades. For kids, there is a rustic playground with trampolines, swings etc. There are rowboats and pedalos to get out on the lake, if you don't fancy swimming. And it's a beach, so you'll find loungers, showers, picnic tables and a firepit. I've used the 'community picnic tables', so NPCs can spawn the picnic basket and each table comes with its own BBQ. Other food options include pizza oven, ice cream machine and an eatery upstairs, with plenty of sea-view tables. Place at 296 Rue de Lutzelbach.

Lutzelbach Beach is a lovely beach for sims to enjoy visiting! 🙂The design and layout are great! There are a variety of different food options for sims to enjoy eating or having a drink from the bar. The balcony is lovely to enjoy a meal and have great views. The trampolines and playground area are great! Sims will enjoy sitting around the firepit chatting or cooking on the outdoors grill.
It is lovely that the build brought back special childhood memories of visiting beaches with your family ❤️ - Hidehi21 month agoSeasoned Ace
whatsociallife , Lutzelbach Beach is an absolutely fabulous community lot and looks great with the hills in the background and the reflection in the lake. Love the rustic feel, the different eateries, the colourful picnic benches, the secluded firepit, the deckchairs and umbrellas either side, the dock for the boats and of course the playground!
Perfect destination for a great day by the lake 😍 - Sandraelle1 month agoSeasoned Ace

Well, well, for someone who doesn’t enjoy landscaping you did a wonderful job with Lutzelbach Beach whatsociallife ! I love how you cohesively separated activities using the greenery. The weathered buildings add character and the whole lot is laid out so nicely for a fun outing. Links added to the News and Map B listings. Well done! 🤩
