Hey rumbutter - how's your lot going? It looks like you are having fun.
I always have to go BIG. Then I wonder why? But I just seem to do it. I found the roller coaster a challenge and was relieved when they both finally worked. I had to rearrange a bit of track to make the purple one valid.
I am back decorating mine now - I need to get it finished. Tomorrow I want to do other things that don't involve computers
I'll check back here though to see how things are going. I hope you post pictures of your roller coaster as you get it going. Knowing me, I will just keep adding things until no one can move on the lot. Then I'll have to delete a bit.
I am totally amateur too. I had no plan and no prior experience and no idea other than start placing things to see what would happen next. Plans developed and changed as I progressed.
I started with the lot as Visitors Allowed. But it is really painful building in Edit Town and my sims couldn't buy the lot so I changed it to a hangout and then my sims purchased it and now it is soooo much easier to move from build, buy and live modes. They've got plenty of money - I found pear shaped gems in their inventories and each one is worth over 7,000,000 simoleans. I've only sold one of the so far. And they get heaps of cash from consigning their produce at the stores I build before and put into this game.
