What if I go for a spring grass and light dirt texture on this hillside and it all goes horribly wrong! Yeah, that kind of nervousness.
Well see, I actually did that. And it actually did go all wrong. Terribly wrong, in fact. I just made sure I saved before I started and when I didn't like the outcome I re-loaded the world without saving it again. ;)
When I first started the terrain paints, and I still do it to some extent just not as badly, I found myself holding my breath afraid of my hand wiggling the mouse.
Yes, I do indeed like those mountains. Mine, not so much. Then again, the ones I currently have going are a different kind of mountain and I'm having to work at them more than I would something else. They involve a lot of stone and a lot of dirt, and I have to figure out how on earth to make them look less stark than what they are at the moment.
