BSI, yes, mountain terrain painting is really tough. A lot of people go for the stark granite look and I would too if it weren`t for the rocks at the waterfall`s lower and upper lakes, they`re kind of a dark grey blue colour and the granite is too..um...grey. I`m sure if I spent some time on it I would sort it out but it would take me forever as I`m so bad at that kind of thing. I just didn`t want a shale based waterfall area mixing with a granite hillside. As you have said, there are a lot of different mountain types, colours and shades it`s just a matter of taste I suppose. I`ve seen some beautiful mountains in some of the CAW worlds people are working on, though I have to say there are some not so good. Again, just a matter of taste. Um...I think?
