Agggh, dude, don't call my homeland a dump! LOL! Seriously, Saskan Harbor earned "keeper" status and is the Sunset Valley replacement I was looking for. I love the beach but never could get into Sunset Valley for some reason. In Saskan Harbor I've found precisely what I wanted from a beachy-centric map that SV didn't deliver for me. It happened to be the right size and right number and distribution of lots for my computer and my non-themed play style. I did like the "flow" too. You've got lots all over the map but there's clearly a central area to focus on, yet you don't feel "funneled" into it. That was my main problem with SV--I felt claustrophobic, like if I wanted to visit the beach, I was literally being funneled into it. I don't mind coves but that one was really uh...funnelly. Good grief, I need a thesaurus! Or more sleep. Words too often fail me despite my torrent of them.
