SummerSong86 and Regina, I know Saskan Harbour isn`t a dump, it`s nice and I`m actually quite pleased it turned out the way it did. Going back to the start of the year I`d never have guessed it would work out at all. I`ve learned a lot during that time and if I go back into CAW at some point maybe the next world will be better still.
I definately need to work on my terrain painting and maybe a few other things but we shall see.
I was playing Saskan Harbour last night and it struck me that I needed to place half a dozen tall juniper trees along the road that runs parallel to the airstrip. After that I noticed that when I clicked on the lot on Rockland Shore I saw two aspen trees facing the same way!
Arrghhh!
I spent a lot of time trying to make sure most trees were placed at different angles so that wouldn`t happen (at least with trees with prominant direction facing branches). I don`t know if I`m being overly picky or not?
Oh well, it`s done now. Is it worth it going back into CAW yet again to place those six juniper trees and `fix` those two aspen trees?
I dunno? Probably not.
By the way SummerSong86, I`m playing Saskan Harbour too. I made a place I`d like my sims to live and for the time being thats where their lives will unfold. I have to thank you for your kind words though and I`m really happy it`s working out for you.
