SummerSong86, actually I can see a kind of Rebel without a cause theme to Saskan Harbour. There is a certain look of the backwater 1950`s about it, so I can relate to your seeing a fair bit of that era about the island. I didn`t create the world with any particular theme in mind (except for the notion of a vague Pacific Northwest island), so I guess you can add a theme and it won`t look out of place or feel wrong.
I think that`s always a good thing and a nice option to play with.

Writin_Reg, wow, cheers Reg. It`s always a wee bit scary when you see a message in your thread as you never know when it may be the one telling you that everything is wrong with your island or frankly it`s just a mess. So it was nice to see your message saying you are enjoying Saskan Harbour.
I haven`t downloaded any one else`s world so I honestly didn`t know there was a problem regarding the taxis getting stuck upon returning from a WA destinations. I`m just glad you are enjoying the island.
I didn`t want a cramped lot upon lot type of place (although the town is a different story). Some sims can live in town and some can live around the island in more `remote` areas.
I know it`s not everybody`s cup of tea but I`m a sucker for those long drives into town from the other side of the island.
