Ooh, ooh, more trees! I love trees!
But more than that, I absolutely love you, because you did one thing that I have had in my mind since the days of TS2 and just never got around to doing it. You built an old folks' home!
I've taken a cursory look around the map, and you probably know I'm not keen on micro-lots or odd-sized lots, but even though there are a few in Saskan Harbour they don't stick out like a sore thumb. There's such a wide variety of lot sizes scattered about that it just doesn't matter.
I love the way you did the military base, sticking it off on the backside of the island. Having a few residential lots out there is a nice touch too. The only thing I would have done differently there is to add a couple more lots and maybe one of a larger size for knuckleheads like me who would get the idea to stick a Sim family clear back there but want a big lot for it.
I really like how you situated some of the lots near the harbour so that they're away from the bustle of town but not so far away that it would be annoying to get into town. Maybe I'll go ahead and start a Sim so I can get the feel for the place, then when you get the updated version available, plop the Sim with their lot into the Sim bin and place them in the later version.
ETA: Oh, oh! You know that tiny little Pine Hollow Trail lot? I would LOVE to have a 60x60 back there because that would be the ideal spot for me to start a Sim on a bare lot. Optimally it would have a Beautiful Vista buff as well. It's just gorgeous back there! :D
