Regarding your sim going home to the cabin in the woods (I know the cabin you mean, I think?), well, it may be better to play at normal speed and watch where he actually goes (although he may take another route next time).
I`m pretty sure the routing was done so as to avoid any really odd or unfeasable possible routes. As regards to it actually being a problem, mmme...maybe next time make sure it is a problem then let me know then I can address it properly.
I`m not offering a save file for Saskan Harbour, it`s just something I never thought of doing.
