Shadowglass, wow, thank you for the compliment. The front desk (reception) in the gym is maybe a throwback to Sims 2 when I used to try for a bit of realism when entering a shop etc. I liked to see customer service and those tills in Sims 2 were handy for placing a sim at reception and suchlike.
It looks a bit odd in Sims 3 just now but we shall see where EA go with Ambitions EP.
I`m glad you like the look of Saskan Harbour but there are a lot of amazing worlds out there and some that are near completion that look incredible. Your kind words are much appreciated though.

Yes, CAW can be very, very frustrating indeed but as long as you persevere with your ideals of your own world then at sometime everything might just fall into place and you can sit back (take a deep breath) and start playing your sims there.
After a few weeks I just wanted to play my world and for a first real attempt I guess I got kinda lucky.
