Yes, that`s odd about the non visited bar. I don`t know if it`s anything to do with which community lot sub-type you may be using for bars in general? I have tried Visitors Allowed, Small Park and even Beach.
In Sunset Valley I`ve experienced community lots changing sub-type on their own, one bar was showing up as graveyard...not a great selling point for a bar (unless perhaps you are of the Goth persuasion).
Another thing I found interesting was using the testingcheatsenabled cheat to go into buydebug and in build mode a few of my lots had that big, white square box thing at the side of the stairs going into the house. I remember once deleting the stairs then undoing that delete and the box was gone. I think there may have been routing/pathfinding issues after that so I quit doing it.
Um, apart from that I just don`t know what could be causing those sims to avoid going to the bar? To be honest I would delete that bar and build a new one on the same lot. It may be a bar you like but sometimes problem lots just aren`t worth the hassle.
