If you want your sim to own the bakery you can cook to refill the shelves or if you are like me and have too many bakeries in your town I use https://www.nraas.net/community/Cupcake and have them set to refill. It's pretty easy to setup and then it automatically refills the cases after 3am when EA empties them. The chocolate gnomes are from into the future I believe, you can choose any recipes your game has from the cupcake list, some of the things like the chocolate bananas and kid food are stocked because it looks cute but it's pretty impractical to have your sims restock daily.
If you decide to use the cupcake mod I'll PM you how I set it up. If not, I would suggest partially filling the displays with fake chocolates like the lunar new year candy box so there's less to refill. Or, set it up perfectly once, and redrop it from the lot bin if you plan to visit that day.
@Jessabeans Thank you so much!! Up to now I use the buy debug cheat for filling up my bakery display case and it is so slow because each thing has to be baked one at a time.. Have to check ITF more carefully.. I thought at first that the chocolate gnomes were part of KPST..I agree, the daily restocking is a pain! I will definitely download that mod! :) I hope you and your family had a lovely Christmas Eve!
