Mere hours after the wedding, Tamara Donner was still feeling the romance in the air as she gazed over at Xander Clavell.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" They were alone upstairs in the Roomie Household's townhouse. Cycl0n3 Sw0rd and Emma Hatch were downstairs in the kitchen. Neither of them had any idea where Stiles McGraw or Blair Wainwright had gone.
"I was just thinking about Tori's wedding."
"She married a Snitch!"
"You know my roommate is a Snitch as well, right? That's not what this is about, Xander." Tamara's well-known temper was already starting to rise.
Her roommates never understood why she wanted to hang out with Xander Clavell. Talk about one of Sunset Valley's undesirables. But the two were friends and sometimes with benefits.
This time, Tamara was thinking about more than just benefits. She was considering a real relationship.
"And be like my parents?" Xander scoffed. "They fight in their sleep. My dad is the living meme of the old man shaking his fist at the clouds."
"Just think about it," Tamara said. "Maybe this can convince you." She motioned to one of the beds in the room.
"Then you have to let me sleep on it and I'll give you an answer in the morning."
